Meet Gregg Hymowitz
Gregg S. Hymowitz is currently the Managing Partner at the investment firm of EnTrust Capital, headquartered in New York City. He graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton, receiving there his B.A., Phi Beta Kappa in 1987. Continuing his studies, Gregg Hymowitz went on to Harvard Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude.
Mr. Hymowitz is the recipient of several awards. In 1985 he was chosen as one of five Harry S. Truman Scholars in New York State. In 1987 he was recognized as a British Hansard Society Scholar.
Gregg is also active in the world of national and regional politics. In 2004 Mr. Hymowitz was the National Co-Chairman of the Democratic Party’s campaign in support of Congressman Richard Gephardt’s bid for the Presidency of the United States.
Gregg has spoken in front of the Committee on Financial Services of the U.S. House of Representatives and has appeared on discussion panels on financial news programs such as Fox News, CNN and CNBC.
Gregg’s brief bio would not be complete without mentioning the charitable causes he is involved in, and his contribution to the community in which he lives. Mr. Hymowitz was honored in 2004 by the Governor’s Committee on Scholastic Achievement for his crucial role in promoting high academic standards in New York City; and the sponsorship of his firm, EnTrust, in the renowned New York Knicks Poetry Slam Program.
